The Amato Lamberti Award for Social Responsibility Returns to Nisida

Now in its sixth edition, the “Amato Lamberti” Social Responsibility Award returns to Nisida, organized by the Jonathan Association and the Gesco social enterprise group and scheduled for Saturday 21 September starting at 18 pm in the open spaces of the European Center for Studies in Nisida. The Award will be opened by a video message from Renzo Arbore edited by the director of Rai Italia Marco Giudici who will collect a special Award on behalf of the musician and showman, and by the speech on stage by Alessandro Siani who will receive the Award for the 2019 edition. During the award ceremony hosted by Ida Palisi, the former mayor of Riace Mimmo Lucano (award for the Citizenship category) will speak; the journalist, author and television host Franca Leosini (Journalism); the head of the Archivio Fotografico Parisio association Stefano Fittipaldi (Culture); the president of the Donnaregina Foundation for Contemporary Arts – Madre Museum Laura Valente (Social Work); the editorial director of the publishing house Marotta&Cafiero Rosario Esposito La Rossa (Impresa). The director Alessio Falconio will receive the Prize for Political Information for Radio Radicale and the philosopher, essayist and scholar of criminal phenomena Isaia Sales will receive the Special Mention dedicated to the magistrate Paolo Giannino. Finally, the photojournalist Ciro Fusco will be awarded the Napoli Città Solidale prize for his great commitment to the most disadvantaged children and a prize in memory of the psychiatrist and writer Mario Petrella will be given to his wife Paola Rescigno. With the president of Gesco Sergio D'Angelo and the managers of Jonathan Silvia Ricciardi and Vincenzo Morgera, the mayor of Naples Luigi de Magistris, the president of the Naples Award Domenico Ciruzzi, the former director of the Rai center in Naples Francesco Pinto, the president of the Film Commission Foundation of the Campania Region Titta Fiore, the president of the Order of Journalists Ottavio Lucarelli, representing the Department of Juvenile and Community Justice Dr. Giuseppe Cacciapuoti, the director of the IPM of Nisida Gianluca Guida and the wife of Amato Lamberti, Roselena Lamberti, will speak at the awards ceremony.
The winners will receive a work of art as a gift, thanks to the contribution of some internationally renowned artists. The artists participating in the 2019 edition are Caterina Arciprete, Valeria Corvino, Donatella Donatelli, Lino Fiorito, Moio & Sivelli, Alfonso Mezzacapo, Laura Niola, Massimo Pastore, Giuseppe Pirozzi, Felix Policastro and Viviana Rasulo.
Furthermore, the 2019 Award will have a symbolic work (in place of the traditional plaques) created specifically by Valter Luca De Bartolomeis with the Istituto Superiore Caselli De Sanctis of Capodimonte while the social cooperative Nesis will donate an artifact from the 'Nciarmato Laboratory in Nisida.
The evening will also see the extraordinary participation of some boys from the Juvenile Penal Institute, involved in the refreshments provided by the catering Monelli tra i fornelli.
The 2019 edition is accredited by the Order of Journalists of Campania and has the patronage of: Ministry of Justice; Campania Region; Municipality of Naples; Order of Journalists of Campania; Suor Orsola Benincasa University.
