On Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th September, from 17.00pm to 21.00pm, at the headquarters of the Balconica association in Corso Umberto I in Futani (SA), the scenography workshop for the preparation of the Balconica festival, which will be held on 5th October 2019, will take place.
“We believe that relationships with the territory, the community and the environment of belonging are fundamental to understanding the spaces in which to act and create relationships with the public. In particular, the specificity of the places can significantly impact the scenographic design and reorganization of the spaces”. The history and identity of the territory are the premises from which the Balconica association starts to build its cultural project Balconica, a project that cannot be realized without the active participation of the entire population: hence the idea of an open laboratory for the creation of the scenography of the festival. The laboratory will be realized according to a participatory methodology that will actively involve the participants, through individual and group work, both in the planning phase and in the practical construction of the works and interventions. Each participant, or group, will try their hand at designing spaces and creating interventions, putting their own design and creative skills into play. The workshop is aimed at children, teenagers, mothers, grandparents, artists, artisans, set designers and all those people who, despite not having a specific skill, want to express their creativity.
