Giancarlo Colella and Venere Perrotta are, respectively, the first place winners of the Fabrizio Frizzi Memorial and the Fire Music Festival, a festival that concluded on Saturday against the backdrop of the magical atmosphere of the historic Campanian Amphitheatre in Santa Maria Capua Vetere (Caserta). This year's edition was dedicated to the popular TV host Fabrizio Frizzi, who passed away in 2018 and was presented by Veronica Maya who remembered Frizzi as the presenter of the first edition of the Sammaritan festival. The two first place winners, Venere Perrotta and Giancarlo Coella, aka Gcole, will automatically participate in the #Freepalco Festival in Modena and were recipients of a prize of 500 euros and 200 euros respectively offered by the Sessa jewelry store in Santa Maria Capua Vetere, which gave the presenter a pair of designer earrings. All competitors were given a certificate of participation and a silver gadget, also offered by Sessa. Among this year's guests are Filippo Graziani (with the successes of his father, the unforgettable Ivan); Franco Del Prete (Sud Express) and Rosalia Porcaro for the cabaret corner. Patron of the event, Gianfranco Di Rienzo, drummer and author of various initiatives related to the world of music and entertainment who, together with Vittorio De Scalzi (musician and former member of the New Trolls), created the event where the name of the fire ('Fire Festival') is not associated with the well-known chronicles of the nearby 'land of fires', but indicates THE 'fire' that blesses the potential of the participants in the artistic-musical event. The festival, in fact, has its roots in the past and recalls, as continuity, the musical tradition of the city of Santa Maria Capua Vetere where in the 60s the Anfiteatro D'oro was organized, a singing competition of great success at a national level that saw the presence of historic presenters such as Pippo Baudo, Corrado and Daniele Piombi. The patron of the festival, Gianfranco Di Rienzo, has in the past brought to the city personalities such as Katia Ricciarelli and a 100-piece orchestra, as well as other celebrities from the world of art and music. During the evening – made possible thanks to the director of the Polo Museale della Campania Anna Imponente and the director of the Museo Archeologico dell'Antica Capua, Ida Gennarelli – #5minutidivita was presented, an award born from the collaboration of the Fondiaria D'Angiò and Mitreo Film Festival Associations, while part of the proceeds were donated to Telethon. The artistic director of the event is Lello Petrarca, a multi-instrumentalist who ranges from jazz to pop to rock, who directed the orchestra by selecting 12 names out of 115 registration requests from all over Italy. In the meantime, the patron Di Rienzo is already working with Maestro Petrarca and his competent staff, for a musical educational seminar in collaboration with the ITES Leonardo da Vinci school of Santa Maria Capua Vetere with the approval of the director Angelina Di Nardo, to be held in the great hall of the institute itself, in addition to the organization for next December of the eleventh edition of the Christmas Concert with a show of artists always of national level. A collaboration with the school was born in 2016, when the first seminar was organized with the director pro tempore Silvana De Cato which led to the birth of the Fire Music Festival hosted by Frizzi. During the evening, with the assistance of the coordinator Katia Lanese, a video message of good wishes from Fabio Frizzi, Fabrizio's brother, was also broadcast. The festival had the moral patronage of the Campania Region and the Municipality of Santa Maria Capua Vetere.
