Naples. “For months, citizens have continued to report cases of incivility and rudeness along Corso Vittorio Emanuele. The latest case comes from the stretch near the Santa Maria Apparente area where someone thought it a good idea to move the garbage bins into the middle of the road to park their car. An absolutely unjustifiable act that represents the tip of the iceberg of what happens daily along the road”. This was stated by the regional councilor of the Greens Francesco Emilio Borrelli, the councilor of the Sole che Ride in the I Municipality Benedetta Sciannimanica and the councilor of the II Municipality Salvatore Iodice. “In 2019, we reported several acts of incivility that occurred along the road. From the roadway occupied by the platforms of a commercial business to the dumping of bulky waste that does not only characterize that artery but also the nearby Salita Cariati and Via San Nicola da Tolentino. Citizens are tired of such a high level of incivility and are asking for measures to be taken. A greater presence by the municipal police and law enforcement is needed to reaffirm legality along one of the symbolic streets of Naples”
