Faithful to their identity but always unpredictable, “Simple Mood”, Raffaele Cerella (singer) and Luigi Merone (guitarist), synthesize in a title the explosive magic of life. Published by the independent record label Soter and directed by Sebastiano Covone, the video, available from today on all digital stores, plays on the contrast between the passivity of waiting for an event and the big bang that instead, inevitably, follows.
“Collisione”, a song entirely written by the duo, accompanied by musicians Daniele Franzese (bass, synth, keyboards) and Salvatore Zannella (drums), anticipates the group's next work, due out by the end of the year and, after all, it is the key word of existence.
The song describes the emotional turmoil of a man waiting for something that is about to burst into his life: a relationship, a choice, a miracle or a tragedy. Will he be able to resist the impact? Or will that star that is coming crumble in the sky before it even reaches him? Nothing can exist without its collision with the outside world. “Simple Mood” enjoy playing the role of scene creators, exploiting people without emotions and conscience, as if they were real mannequins. They are paired up and put on the dance floor and, at the snap of the artists' fingers, they come to life and dance in front of each other. Each with their partner, each with their “Collision”. Living with the fear of a clash, without putting one's vulnerability into play, generates nothingness, while accepting the crash allows you to live fully.
