Free Wednesdays are back at the Herculaneum Archaeological Park: on October 30th, November 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th, tourists and visitors will have free access to the site from 1:00 p.m. onwards thanks to #iovadoalmuseo, an initiative promoted by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities (MIBACT), which provides twenty days of free admission per calendar year to all monuments, museums, galleries, archaeological digs, parks, and monumental gardens. Also as part of #iovadoalmuseo, the archaeological site will be open for free all day on Sunday, November 3rd. This is an opportunity to rediscover the houses and streets of ancient Herculaneum in the company of groups or families. "This year, All Saints' Day at the Park begins on Wednesday afternoon with free admission from 1:00 p.m. and continues with free admission all day on Sunday, November 3rd, thanks to the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities (MIBACT) initiative #iovadoalmuseo," says Francesco Sirano, director of the Herculaneum Archaeological Park. Our visitors will be able to take advantage of this opportunity to choose the Ercolano Park as their destination next weekend, when they will also be able to access and enjoy the live restoration of the Casa del Bicentenario, the last jewel of the ancient city's heritage reopened to the public after more than 35 years of closure.
