Three definitive stamps from the thematic series "Italian Excellence in Entertainment" dedicated to Lucio Dalla, Pino Daniele, and Giorgio Gaber are being issued today. Poste Italiane announced the news. The stamps, each with a face value of €1,10, have a print run of 800,000 and are printed by the Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato (State Printing Office and Mint) using rotogravure on white, coated, self-adhesive, non-fluorescent paper. The designers are: Tiziana Trinca for the stamp dedicated to Lucio Dalla, Gaetano Ieluzzo for the stamp dedicated to Pino Daniele, and the stamp dedicated to Giorgio Gaber, designed by the Philatelic Center of the Directorate of Securities and Traditional Productions of the Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato SpA. The first-day cancellation for the stamp dedicated to Lucio Dalla is available at the Bologna Centro post office, the first-day cancellation for the stamp dedicated to Pino Daniele is available at the Filatelia Napoli space, and the first-day cancellation for the stamp dedicated to Giorgio Gaber is available at the Filatelia Milano space. The stamps and related philatelic products—postcards, cards, and illustrated bulletins—can be purchased at post offices with philatelic counters, the "Spazio Filatelia" in Florence, Genoa, Milan, Naples, Rome, Rome 1, Turin, Trieste, Venice, and Verona, and on the poste.it website. Three separate A4 folders have been created for the occasion, containing the stamp, a cancelled and stamped postcard, and a first-day cover. Each folder costs €12.
