“The conditions of via Cerlone in Fuorigrotta, where the local market once stood, are getting worse hour after hour. The entire area has taken on the appearance of an illegal landfill. Along the walls that divide the road from the Cumana depot and in other parts of the road, everything has been abandoned. There is special waste, paint residue, solvents and even the carcass of a Vespa, a real ecological bomb less than fifty meters from the homes”. The complaint comes from the regional councilor of the Greens Francesco Emilio Borrelli, from the host of “La Radiazza” on Radio Marte Gianni Simioli and from Napolivillage.com. “The open-air landfill also constitutes a danger due to the risk of toxic fires. It is necessary to intervene very quickly to free the road from the presence of waste. We have therefore sent a note to Asia asking them to intervene quickly with a cleanup operation of the entire area in order to restore health to the space and eradicate the risk of fires”.
