Mariglianella OK Works Municipal Gym at IC Carducci

The Municipal Administration of Mariglianella, led by the Mayor Felice Di Maiolo, having as its
Councillor for Budget and Public Works, Arcangelo Russo, Councillor for Sport, Felice Porcaro,
Municipal Councilor with responsibility for Schools, Pina Sodano, had worked hard to obtain the project in a timely manner
close to a loan to be allocated to the restyling of the gym at the IC “Giosuè Carducci”,
school complex on Via Torino.
The membership procedures, started through the competent Technical Office, with the Responsible Eng.
Arcangelo Addeo, in the relevant public notice of the Ministry of the Interior, last January, had
gained access to a contribution, relative to the local demographic size of Mariglianella,
to be allocated to the "realization of investments for the safety of schools, roads, buildings
public and municipal assets, for the year 2019, pursuant to article 1, paragraph 107, of law 30
December 2018, n. 145, 2019 budget law”.
The declared prompt will of the Municipal Administration was followed by the subsequent rapid and
concrete technical and administrative path with the definitive project, curated by the Technical Service
Municipality, with the Sole Responsible for the Procedure, Eng. Arcangelo Addeo, approved with
Municipal Council Resolution no. 29 of 29 March 2019. The executive project followed,
approved by the Municipal Council with Resolution no. 34 of 9 April 2019.

The Municipal Administration is now satisfied with the work carried out and in seeing the Gymnasium
Municipality at the IC Carducci, which has been embellished, equipped and functionalised as a place intended
in addition to school activities, also to various other initiatives in the world of associations
sporting and cultural.
It is precisely to meet these educational and social needs that the synergistic action was set in motion
municipal administrative machine with the relevant departments and directly responsible offices
for the procedures that now see the completion of the renovation works of the Municipal Gymnasium,
pertaining to the Lower Secondary School of the “Giosuè Carducci” Comprehensive Institute in via
Turin. As soon as the works were completed, as promised by the Municipal Administration, the structure was
returned to its ordinary activity for the new 2019-2020 school year.
The Municipal Administrators expressed "full satisfaction for the mission accomplished and for
having once again found the utmost cooperation from the competent municipal offices.
Care in procedures, rapid execution times, precision in work, in exemplary harmony
with the aim of continuously improving the logistics of the school world. This is a priority that is
constantly present in our administrative action. Now in the school gym
adequately renovated, the activities will resume in full safety and efficiency
educational gymnastics for the satisfaction of the students and the serenity of the parents. This structure will be
also available to sports associations. This confirms the scholastic excellence of the IC
Carducci and the continued commitment of the Municipal Administration for the school of Mariglianella”.
