“We have been notified of a video showing a crew of Japanese operators who, in order to get decent footage of the Sant'Antonio a Posillipo viewpoint, had to take up a dustpan and broom to clean it of the rubbish left by the uncivilized people who invade the area every evening. There is no point in hiding it, Sant'Antonio a Posillipo has become a living hell for some time now. The sweeping has not taken place for months and the uncivilized people have no qualms about throwing rubbish on the ground. The situation is made worse by the presence of a mobile sandwich shop. Customers consume food and drinks and then throw them from the viewpoint. This is deplorable behaviour, to which are added the acts of uncivility of those who celebrate graduations and birthdays and then leave confetti and food scraps on the spot”. The complaint comes from the regional councilor of the Greens Francesco Emilio Borrelli and from the councilor of the Sole che Ride in the I Municipality Gianni Caselli. "To the ecological problems - they continue - are added the critical issues related to crime. The presence of drug dealers in the area of the Sant'Antonio belvedere is now habitual. A greater presence by the police is needed to ensure that one of the most evocative places in Naples, currently unfrequented, regains the decorum and dignity that once characterized it".
