The Kalashnikov tattoo has been removed from the advertising photo posted on the church. It's happening in NAPLES, where the parish priest of the Portosalvo church, Don Francesco Rivieccio, has said "no" to the advertising campaign for the Evolver clothing line, which features Daniele Di Bella as its face, a young man who rose to fame after his appearances on "Le Iene" and "Pomeriggio 5," where he complained that, due to his tattoos covering much of his face, he couldn't find work. According to today's edition of the newspaper "Il Mattino," the parish priest initially denied permission to post the image on the structures that partially cover the Portosalvo church on Via Marina, due to the presence, on the model's face, of a tattoo in the shape of a Kalashnikov, an AK-47. After a lengthy dispute between the parties, the company chose to retouch the image, eliminating the rifle tattoo. "We understand, respect, and don't judge other people's opinions and beliefs, and for this very reason, we decided to remove the AK-47 tattoo from the spokesperson's forehead for this project only, as requested. For all other projects, we were able to authentically convey Daniele Di Bella's image," explains art director Davide Esposito. The spokesperson apparently didn't take it badly: "I respect their choice," commented Daniele Di Bella, "but if I have to say, it's just a tattoo, a drawing: it will never hurt anyone. I didn't mean to encourage violence or anything else, but in any case, I thank the Evolver team for not giving room for prejudice."
