Naples. The Public Administration Crimes Section of the Naples Public Prosecutor's Office has opened an investigation into the management of the Universiade in Naples. Prosecutors Francesco Raffaele and Henry John Woodcock, under the coordination of Prosecutor Gianni Melillo, have ordered the seizure of numerous documents from the Campania Region, the headquarters of ARU (the regional agency for the Universiade), and the two shipping companies, Costa Crociera and MSC, which offered hospitality in the port to athletes and team staff from around the world. The charges include abuse of office and bid-rigging.
