Naples. Along Corso Protopisani the Carabinieri of the Poggioreale operational section ordered them to “stop” but Antonio Digitale, a 37-year-old already known to the police, resident in the area, riding a scooter, did not stop. Indeed, while fleeing he closed the door of the service car, hitting one of the two soldiers on the ankle and elbow, then, passing at high speed on board the scooter, he hit the second Carabinieri.
He fled but was tracked down not far from his home and arrested for resisting a public official. He was tried with a summary trial and was required to report to the judicial police twice a day for 2 days a week.
