Naples. Yesterday evening the officers of the Vomero police station, with the support of the Campania Crime Prevention Department, carried out an extraordinary control service of the territory.
The activity was mainly concentrated in the pedestrian area of ​​the neighborhood, via Scarlatti, via Merliani, via Luca Giordano, piazza Vanvitelli and piazza Immacolata, as well as on the neighboring streets up to the nearby piazza Leonardo.
The police carried out a check at a private recreational club in Largo Celebrano, identifying 23 people, two of whom had previous convictions, and carried out 3 checks on people subject to prevention and detention measures.
80 people were identified, 12 of whom had a criminal record, and 27 vehicles were checked, including 2 mopeds.
