“Tomorrow in Pietrarsa, a delegation of ours will meet the Prefect of Naples, Carmela Pagano, who has made herself available to inform the Head of State of the situation that for almost three months has prevented us from carrying out the work for which we were selected”. This was announced by the navigators from Campania who in a note said they were “deeply grateful to the institutions for having accepted our request for a meeting”. “We place – they continue – our hopes and our trust as Italians in President Mattarella to whom we will represent our discomfort as citizens who, for exclusively political reasons, are being denied the sacrosanct right to work, a cornerstone of our Constitution”. The navigators from Campania, unlike the navigators of the other Regions, have not yet begun their training and work path in the absence of the signing of the agreement between the Campania Region and Anpal Servizi. “Ours – they conclude – is a right earned by winning a regular public selection like all the other navigators in Italy”.
