As part of the Ricomincio dai libri 2019 fair, from 4 to 6 October, Lalineascritta writing school founded and directed by Antonella Cilento offers Os(cura) Parola, a journey through three free introductory workshops on word care.
Friday 4 October 18.30-19.30 pm: The whale's tail - creative writing workshop with Antonella Cilento writer, finalist Strega Prize 2014, founder of Lalineascritta, coordinator of the SEMA master (UNISOB & Lalineascritta)
Saturday 5 October 16-17pm: The craft of books – publishing workshop with Stefania Cantelmo and Giuseppe D'Antonio editorial writers, editors, teachers of the SEMA master (UNISOB & Lalineascritta)
Sunday 6 October 16-17 pm: On stage! – dramaturgy workshop with Stefania Bruno, playwright, founder of the En Kai Pan cooperative, researcher in History of Theatre, teacher of the SEMA master (UNISOB & Lalineascritta).
Os(cura) Parola was born from the idea of the written word as a cure for the soul and the spirit, but it also produces the divine mania for narration, theatre and poetry.
The word is, in short, a drug in the etymological sense, pharmakon, meaning healing plant and poison.
The care of the word is expressed in narrative writing (from autobiography to the novel), in writing for the stage, or for the theatre, and concludes with the care dedicated to the printed word, or editorial care, to the book that preserves the word.
The Os(cura) Parola workshops are aimed at those who wish to deepen, understand and explore the art of narrative writing and its techniques; those who wish to approach writing for the theatre, and learn about and engage with the profession of playwright, actors and directors who wish to deepen their knowledge of techniques, forms and genres of dramaturgy; and finally, those who wish to explore, analyse and understand the dynamics that regulate the world of publishing and books, between spheres of expertise, tools and possible paths.
The project is divided into three free lessons of one hour each, one for each day of the fair: you can book by sending an email to info@lalineascritta.it or participate by arriving directly, on time, to the meetings indicated above that will be held in the classrooms designated for the laboratories of the Foqus Foundation.
The gazebo of Lalineascritta, the first writing school founded in southern Italy 27 years ago, will be present with information on all the activities and courses within the scope of Ricomincio dai libri.
