To better understand the importance of the initiative, an eco-point will be set up in Piazza Sant'Alfonso on Sunday, October 6th, providing useful information on what to dispose of and why this initiative is so important. Remember, "well-managed waste disposal is half the battle!"
Two containers for the collection of used oils have been installed in the municipality of Pagani. Two collection points have been identified: one in Vasca Pignataro and the other in Piazza D'Arezzo. An important project presented by Aspa and strongly supported and desired by the municipal administration led by Mayor Gambino. A project that takes into account the environmental impact that certain types of waste have on the ecosystem. In fact, oils used in cooking or for food preservation cannot be disposed of in any other way because they are classified as special waste that impacts the environment by polluting water. With the installation of collection points, each citizen will be able to dispose of and differentiate used oils, allowing them to be regenerated and reused for the production of lubricating oils for engines, cement, asphalt and bitumen, biodiesel for traction and more. An advantage for the environment that inevitably becomes an advantage for each citizen.
