Yesterday morning, the officers of the Pozzuoli Police Station, during their territorial control service, noticed two men in Via Cicerone who were entering an internet point. The police officers recognized the younger man as a person under special surveillance with an obligation to reside in the municipality of Pozzuoli. The officers checked the two, both with criminal records, finding an illegally held micro-cell phone in the pockets of the person under special surveillance.
Mariano Sannino, a 32-year-old from Pozzuoli, was arrested for violating the obligations inherent to special surveillance and reported for violating the Police Commissioner's ban on the possession and use of transceiver devices.
The man, tried this morning with a summary trial, was sentenced to ten months and twenty days of imprisonment with the application of the precautionary measure of the obligation to report to the PG at the police station in Pozzuoli. The microcellular phone was confiscated.
