The man was stopped and found in possession of a key that opened the door of a garage where, inside a Yaris, a Sig Sauer 9mm Parabellum pistol loaded with 13 cartridges and another 8 in a bag was found.
The garage was equipped with a video surveillance system connected to a television discovered in the apartment inhabited by Antonio Formicola, a 41-year-old currently under probation. He and the man found outside the home, Domenico Giannello, a 46-year-old with a criminal record, were arrested for possession of a war weapon. The owner of the car, a 38-year-old woman, was reported for the same crime.
