Somma Vesuviana, Allocca's question on public lighting: "Maintenance stopped despite promises"

A question to the mayor, in the city council, to find out what stage the project financing for public lighting in Somma Vesuviana is at. It was presented by the minority city councilor, representative of the “Somma Futura” group, Celestino Allocca.

Allocca explains: "In April, Mayor Salvatore Di Sarno announced that the procedural process for the project financing relating to public lighting had been concluded, adding that the work would begin after the Easter holidays. Instead, about 6 months after that announcement, the situation of public lighting in Somma Vesuviana is almost dramatic, with streets completely in the dark both in the center and on the outskirts. We ask to know what stage the procedural process is at, when the actual start of the work is expected and, above all, who is now in charge of public lighting, given that the citizens' complaints seem to know no end.
