"One of the shots broke the glass and landed in the study where I was reading and preparing for this evening's adoration, and it was purely by chance that it missed me." As for the motives that could have triggered an intimidation attack against him, Don Vittorio has no opinion: "I honestly don't know a possible motive; I even told the police."
