The 2019 Stabia Teatro Festival – seventh edition – and the “Annibale Ruccello” Award will be presented on Monday, October 28 (6:00 pm) in the Banca Stabiese Conference Room at Via Ettore Tito, 1 in Castellammare di Stabia.
Created by playwright and poet Luca Nasuto, the festival takes place in Castellammare di Stabia in the places returned by the ancient Stabiae and in significant spaces such as the Royal Palace, Baths, ancient streets, churches and in all those sites that are witnesses of dynasties such as the Bourbon era and of ancient civilizations such as the Greek, Samnite, Etruscan, Roman that constitute its enchanting archaeological heritage. These complexes, in addition to being venues for the performance activities produced and commissioned by the Festival, are also the center of connections created by the organization with National Institutions that aim to revalue and recover the memory of historical-monumental sites through exhibitions, conferences, performances and theatrical training courses. Stabia Teatro Festival, also in the footsteps of its illustrious authors such as Raffaele Viviani and Annibale Ruccello, also offers a section completely dedicated to emerging authors and artists who identify new paths through alternative artistic models and new stage languages that become the driving force of the entire dramatic heritage.
