Two people were arrested by the Carabinieri of the Torre Annunziata operational unit for cultivation and possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing: Salvatore Corrado, a 40-year-old local man already known to law enforcement, and a 23-year-old man with no criminal record from Sarno.
During a search, the military found a “cannabis indica” plant and almost 8 kilos of marijuana already divided into doses in their home. The substance was distributed in several shoe boxes, hidden in the bedroom and in the cellar.
They also had equipment for growing, drying and packaging drugs. The two arrested were taken to Poggioreale prison.
