Umberto De Gregorio, Eav president: 'Trains will increase and not decrease'

During Radio Crc's "Barba e Capelli" program, EAV president Umberto De Gregorio stated: "Circumflegrea? We hope more trains arrive. On the Cumana line, we've renovated over 50% of the rolling stock. The number of trains will increase, not decrease," De Gregorio continued. "I'm reporting the changes, which apparently have become too many, and I'll check. Yesterday, a Circumvesuviana train was blocked, but it was put back online in 40 minutes. To resolve the structural problems, we need to make some improvements; there are five level crossings in Pompeii. We'd like to build underpasses, but we've encountered committees that claim they're dangerous. But, let me tell you, the level crossings are even more dangerous. If we ask for more investment, when we have the resources, let us use them, without creating committees or anyone else."
