SBarbara Buonaiuto's first album, "10 Canzoni", produced by Marocco Music/Aquadia, will be presented at Domus Ars (via Santa Chiara, 29) on Friday, November 8. After the single "'O Scuro", the first taste of the album, the artist, female voice of Renzo Arbore's Orchestra Italiana from 1995 to today, will meet the press and the public to reveal all the other contents and tell her story in a new guise.
The album, which on the cover and in the booklet exalts the multicolored beauty of uncontaminated nature with the photos of Gianfranco Ferraro and the watercolors of Alessandro De Carolis, hosts, together with the six unreleased songs, two covers, tributes to Lhasa De Sela and Waldemar Bastos. Artistically coordinated by Francesco Albano, “8 Canzoni” was arranged mainly by Paolo Del Vecchio who, in a team of musicians among the best in all of Italy, deserves a special mention. Precious collaborations with Marina Mulopulos, Lino Cannavacciuolo, Brigan, Pino Basile and others.
Accompanying Barbara Buonaiuto on stage: Paolo Del Vecchio (guitar and bouzouki), Luca Urciuolo (piano and accordion) and Luigi Pelosi (double bass). Moderator: journalist Salvatore Esposito, director of Blogfoolk.
