The song speaks of a love that has come to an end, and the state of the people who experienced it. There are no more smiles, the heart is frozen, as if locked in a refrigerator. Being close no longer makes sense, except to observe the melancholy that accompanies the end of a relationship.
The music video for “Bottiglie di Chianti” was directed by the leader of Nobraino, Lorenzo Kruger. Adriani, in the role of protagonist, takes off his singer-songwriter outfit to wear that of a tutorial presenter and explain how to open a bottle of wine if your girlfriend leaves you taking the corkscrew.
"This summer I was at the seaside with Martino, in Palinuro: in the parking lot we found my car with a broken mirror. I had to leave, but in the following days he came back, asked questions, investigated until he found the person responsible and made me pay him compensation. A great man: I promised him I'd shoot a video for him," Lorenzo Kruger said.
Although the song talks about Chianti, the wine featured in the video is Aglianico Agriddi, supplied by Albamarina, a well-known winery in Cilento.
Adriani explains why: "I used 'Chianti' because, in much of southern Italy, including my hometown of Cilento, the term translates to 'weeping.' Those tears shed by the song's protagonist over a lost love, which lead to drowning the melancholy in wine. And if the corkscrew isn't there, no problem..."
