“This morning’s meeting in the labor commission, where we discussed the issue of the 170 workers removed from the INPS contract and the transfer from Almaviva to Comdata, effectively losing their jobs, was very important because it sanctioned the formal commitment of the Campania Region against redundancies, through the presence of the councilor for productive activities, Antonio Marchiello”. This was stated by the Campania regional councilor Gianluca Daniele. “The commission, requested by me – continued Daniele – saw the two companies involved as protagonists: Almaviva and Comdata, the unitary trade unions and the RSU, while many workers were protesting outside the Council. In the next few days, – continues the councilor – we will meet the undersecretary of labor of the Democratic Party to reiterate the absurdity of the situation and emphasize that it is even more unacceptable that all this is happening because it is the transfer of a public contract like that of INPS”. “In the meantime, on November 27th – concluded Daniele – the Regional Council will meet in session and among the motions on the agenda there will also be one on the 170 layoffs of Almaviva and Covisian”.
