On Friday, November 8th at 9:00 PM, the Teatro Sannazaro presents the play "Quanto spazio tra di noi," written and directed by Eduardo Tartaglia. Running until Sunday, November 10th and again from Friday, November 15th to Sunday, November 17th, the show features Eduardo Tartaglia, Veronica Mazza, Helen Tesfazghi, and Ernesto Lama, with the participation of Ernesto Mahieux, Ivan Castiglione, and, for the first time, Amalia Tartaglia. Eduardo Tartaglia's new comedy is a grotesque and paradoxical story, set to music by Paolo Coletta, in which the interplay of symbols and references offers the opportunity for unstoppable and frenetic entertainment. The powerful comedy of situations and jokes, however, conceals the shadows and anxieties that always lurk in the author's dramaturgy.
A generous and unspecified race of Extraterrestrials has arrived on our planet to announce that, due to the reckless conduct of Humans and well ahead of all expectations, the Earth is about to definitively exhaust its life cycle. Thus begins an interstellar journey in the Infinite Universe in search of other worlds and other peoples willing to welcome us. Among those determined to risk the intergalactic journey are some Neapolitans. And here is Cristoforo Scuffia, a newsagent in disarray, just awakened from cryogenic sleep, with the daunting task of having to also reawaken his beloved wife, unaware of the journey she has been dragged into, who perhaps dreams of still being in her comfortable bed in "pure skimmed latex, purchased by her beloved aunt on TV, complete with a warm free bedspread in a wool blend with Thai butterflies embroidered in silk..."
