“We are very close to the workers from Campania involved in public utility activities (APU) in Campania, who in these hours are giving life to demonstrations and sit-ins to claim their right to work”, declares Teresa Manzo, deputy of the 5 Star Movement.
"The workers, about 2600 and all former income recipients, have served in various sectors of the Public Administration during the regional project that saw them involved, only to then be forgotten by the Region at the end of the project. We remember that the purpose of the APU project is precisely job placement", adds Rina de Lorenzo, deputy of the 5 Star Movement.
“The government has been engaged in finding solutions for months, we have been trying to have discussions with the Region for a long time, which remains a key player in implementing effective and long-lasting solutions,” adds Luisa Angrisani, a member of parliament for the M5S.
"Unfortunately, after months, every attempt to have a discussion with Councilor Palmeri on the APU issue has not been successful. It is necessary, for this, that all institutions collaborate to give an answer to the 2600 workers in Campania", declares the Five Star Movement MP Alessandro Amitrano.
"Just a few days ago I filed another document in which I ask the region to find solutions to reintroduce them into active policies and to start discussions with all institutional levels. I hope that the region will not remain deaf once again to this appeal", added Gennaro Saiello, Regional Councilor of Campania for the M5S.
“It is not possible that in a southern region like ours, which has seen millions of people leave in search of employment in recent years, we do not intervene,” concludes Gilda Sportiello, deputy of the 5 Star Movement.
