Il group demA of the IV Municipality denounces the situation of administrative immobility that has been going on for several weeks now. He believes that the political-administrative situation should be discussed in a transparent manner in the institutional bodies representing the citizens, for this reason the demA group has long asked the President Perrella an urgent convocation of the Municipal Council. To date, no response has been received to the legitimate request of the group, which has also asked directly given the many problems still to be addressed.
The demA group was asked to broaden its majority to ensure better functioning of the Council.
For demA there is no problem in addressing this issue, expanding the current majority to those elected on the Democratic Party lists.
Instead, a proposal has been made to broaden the majority to include political forces that were rejected by the June 2016 election results which would subvert the popular will expressed through the vote.
For this reason, the demA group rejects any attempt at transformation which, arising from unacceptable internal political dynamics that are completely self-referential, risks having serious consequences on the needs of the citizens of a territory to which the group is attempting to give concrete answers.
In conclusion, therefore, we reiterate with determination the request for urgent convocation of a municipal council in order to address in a transparent manner and before the citizens the political stalemate that is blocking administrative action in order to overcome it with clarity.
