The Carabinieri of the San Gennaro Vesuviano and Tufino Stations, as part of a service ordered by the Provincial Command aimed at combating the phenomenon of undeclared work, have reported 3 people for violations of safety in the workplace.
In particular, the Carabinieri of the San Gennaro Vesuviano Station, supported by personnel from the Territorial Labor Inspectorate of Naples and the ASL Na 3 Sud, reported a 44-year-old local man who, owner of a construction company, had failed to carry out training, information and medical examination activities for workers.
In the construction site where the company operated, the precariousness of the electrical system and the absence of the operational safety plan were also found. Two workers "off the books" were identified by the military. The activity was suspended and the company fined for approximately 42600 euros.
In Tufino, however, the Carabinieri of the local station, in collaboration with personnel from the ASL Napoli 3 sud – Department of Prevention, reported a 73-year-old from Saviano, owner of a construction company, and a 45-year-old from Mugnano, owner of an iron processing company.
In the Casamarciano construction site where they were working, the absence of the operational safety plan in the workplace was found and administrative violations were contested for an amount of 5600 euros. The suspension of activity was ordered for the two companies.
