A a few months after the release of the song “Nei sogni che faccio”, Emanuele Montesano is back with a new video clip, “Mettiamoci d'accordo”, a song that also gives the title to his new album, to be released in December by Bit & Sound Music.
“Mettiamoci d'accordo” is a song that deals with environmental issues, questioning the impact that man has on nature and how nature responds to human indifference.
'As in most of my pieces, the theme addressed in “Mettiamoci d'accordo” is social. After all the events related to climate change, which we have witnessed in recent years, I decided to make my own, personal, point on the issue.'
The song, as well as the video clip, is balanced between contrasting emotions: the verse with more rock and harder tones alternates with a more delicate and pop-like chorus, until the end, where the two genres seem to mix and transform into something else, with the addition of a good dose of electronics; in the video, instead, the videos of catastrophic events, factories, pollution, are contrasted with idyllic images of natural places, flora and fauna.
'In the video I wanted to show the cruel side of nature, using various clips of disasters, interspersed with other clips where, instead, nature shows its gentle side.'
