DAfter the three singles “Da lontano”, “Jukebox” and “Dio c'è”, Lapelle – Dario Lapelazzuli, former leader of Scarlatti Garage and Alessandro D'Aniello aka Alex D Prez, release their first album, “Blu”, for “A Different Records”.
Released on November 22, the album contains eight tracks that demonstrate what Lapelle is: the conceptual synthesis of two musical experiences that have freed themselves from the erotic temptations of the market, the promise to one's conscience to return light without the weight of ideological and behavioral superstructures.
“LAPELLE is the natural and primordial tattoo that does not give in to the fashions of the moment. It is our identity, it reminds us who we are and who we will always be. It is a bastion of simplicity and authenticity that under the deception of artificial tricks silently resists, slowly changes and transforms, but does not deceive us and never leaves us. LAPELLE does not lie.”, we read in the press release issued.
Dario's cynical, ironic and poisonous language with a black and scratched tone is sublimated in Alex's arrangements and urban and warm sound. A cocktail of fresh, light and dilated solutions with a bittersweet taste like dreams and hopes.
“Blu” is produced by A Different Records and Lapelle, recorded and mixed by Alessandro D'Aniello (Ale D Prez) at a Different Studio in Torre del Greco. Mastering by Giovanni Roma (Blob) at “L'Arte dei Rumori Studio” in Marano di Napoli; Graphic Design by 17studio.
Macro: Sergio Ciarambino, the guitar in “La vita bella” is by Pasquale Panico while in “Spalato” is by Marco Penza. Piano in “Solo nella testa” by Biagio Capasso, synths in “Quello che voglio” by Biagio Capasso.
