The Napoli Film Festival tells its story in New York with 41 Parallelo: six short films by young authors presented at New York University – Casa Italiana Zerilli Marimo' – for the 16th edition of the initiative organized by the Napolicinema Association, which also signs the Napoli Film Festival. The works were selected by a jury made up of professors and students from the Italian studies department of the University of NY in the large SchermoNapoli section of the Festival, which reached its 2019st edition in 21. Screened were the award-winning 'Ciruzziello' by Ciro d'Aniello, with Isa Danieli in the role of the mother of a disabled person; 'La Gita' by Salvatore Allocca, on the themes of integration, with music by Ivan Granatino; 'Alma' by Michelangelo Fornaro, a mixed-media work, made with clay, photographic material and graphic processing; 'La Scelta' by Giuseppe Alessio Nuzzo on the life of the actress Cristina Donadio. Social themes also in 'Scenario' by Jay Ruggiano and 'The Noisy Silence' by Agostino Fontana with Giuseppe Zeno.
