ILast night, during an anti-drug operation, the police officers from the San Paolo police station intervened in Via Contieri in the courtyard of a building where a young man, at the sight of the police, attempted to escape and was then stopped.
The officers found that the man, who had approximately 54 grams of marijuana in his pocket, was in the courtyard acting as a lookout outside a ground floor premises that had already been seized last June because it was used as a base for dealing. Inside the premises, the officers stopped another man and a buyer in possession of a stick of hashish, while on a table they found 2 packages of cocaine weighing approximately 8 grams, 1 gram of marijuana and 1 gram of hashish, as well as a precision scale and 150 euros.
Giuseppe Ruggiero and Salvatore Di Costanzo, Neapolitans aged 20 and 39 with several previous police convictions, were arrested for drug dealing and violation of seals while the buyer was administratively sanctioned for possession of a drug for personal use.
