Naples. “We have been informed that the entire ZTL, built along the internal avenues of the Cardarelli hospital, has been transformed into an open-air parking lot for cars and scooters. A real disgrace that shows how incivility and rudeness have also crossed the entrance to hospitals. The pedestrian area, whose creation cost commitment and a long process, is now invaded by vehicles, which have significantly reduced the space that was conceived as an oasis in the largest hospital structure in Southern Italy”. The complaint comes from the regional councilor of the Greens and member of the Health commission Francesco Emilio Borrelli. “We cannot accept that the areas designated for the transit of pedestrians, inside a hospital structure, are transformed into a parking lot. A way of doing things – continues Borrelli – which is also dangerous. We have sent a note to the management of the hospital company asking them to intervene as soon as possible, adopting binding measures to put an end to this disgrace. Those responsible must be severely and decisively sanctioned, restoring liveability and safety to the entire limited traffic zone." |
