IThis year, Noisy Naples Fest is expanding its offering and, in addition to the summer concerts and shows scheduled at the Arena Flegrea, it is presenting a winter program in an exceptional location: the post-industrial club Common Ground (via Scarfoglio 7 – Naples).
Noisy Club is born, an OFF review promoted by the Neapolitan music festival, now in its fifth edition, which intends to offer the Campania public the best of indie, emerging and underground music throughout the year.
Five live shows have already been announced, starting on Saturday 5 November with Gio Evan – with over 30 followers he is the most followed living poet in Italy, on stage he presents the new double album “Natura Molta” – passing through the long-awaited return of Subsonica (700.000 March), fresh from the release of “Microchip Temporale”, a work that celebrates with remixes and duets the 19 years of their cult album “Microchip Emozionale”.
The Noisy Club lineup will also host performances by singer/worker Clavdio, Bomba Dischi's latest discovery (December 14), rapper Mezzosangue (January 23) with “Sua Cuique persona (tour)” and rapper and producer Ketama126 (March 5).
More names from this first edition will be announced soon, while we wait for the summer festival scheduled at the Arena Flegrea, the largest open-air structure in southern Italy which in recent years has hosted international artists such as Sting, Robert Plant, Skunk Anansie, Massive Attack, Noel Gallagher, Ludovico Einaudi, Diana Krall, Kamasi Washington, LP, Kasabian, Paul Kalkbrenner just to name a few.
Writer, poet, philosopher, comedian, performer, singer-songwriter, Gio Evan – real name Giovanni Giancaspro – is a multifaceted and unpredictable artist.
Between 2007 and 2015 he embarked on a bicycle journey that took him to much of the world: India, South America, Europe.
His first book – “Il florilegio passato” – tells of his travels, without money or shoes, as does his first independently published album, “Cranioterapia”.
In 2014 he began two projects for the streets of France: “Gigantografie” and “Le poesie più piccoli del mondo”. He later published the books “La bella maniera” (his first novel, for Narcissuss), “Teorema di un salto, poesie ragionatissime poesie metafisiche” (Narcissuss) and “Passa a sorpresarmi” (Miraggi Edizioni), in addition to writing and directing the work “OH ISSA – Salvo per un cielo”.
In 2017, the book “Capita a volte che ti penso sempre” (for Fabbri) was released, followed by a long tour throughout Italy. The following year, the new single “Pane in cassetta” was released, and in March, the new book for Fabbri “Ormai tra noi è tutto infinito” was on sale. On April 17, “Biglietto di solo ritorno” was released, the debut double album published by MArteLabel and Giallo Ocra, followed by the radio launch of the single “A piedi il mondo” which recorded more than three million plays on Spotify. On October 12, the single “Joseph Beuys” was released on the radio, which accompanied a successful tour.
After a period of absence, he returns to the scene with the new novel “Cento cuori dentro” (Fabbri Editori) and the single and video “Himalaya Cocktail”. The song, together with the new singles “Amazzonia” and “Scudo”, anticipate the double album “Natura Molta”, released on October 25, 2019 for Artist First.
