UOne of the workers killed in the accident this morning in Salento is Pasquale Filieri, the owner of the company 'Eco.Man' who was pruning some olive trees overlooking the Galatone ring road. According to an initial reconstruction of the incident, the three workers were in the lifting basket of the company's truck that was hit by the Golf whose driver died on impact. The driver of the Golf, as far as we know, was a worker from the company 'Alfa Impianti' who was going to work when, for reasons yet to be ascertained, he lost control of the car. The three workers from the company 'Eco.Man' who died in the accident this morning in Salento are Tony Mezzi, 35 years old; Luigi Casaluci, 64 years old; and Pasquale Filieri, 62 years old. The latter was the owner of the company that was pruning some trees on the Galatone ring road. The truck was hit by a Golf whose driver, 44-year-old Alessandro Liguori, from Aradeo, died on impact. Gianni Benegiamo, the worker who was seriously injured, was on the forklift of the 'Eco.Man' truck. All the 'Eco.Man' employees are from Galatone.
