Paul McCartney in Piazza del Plebiscito in Naples on June 10, 2020. “Paul chose Naples and specifically told me that he wanted to sing in Piazza del Plebiscito,” reports Mimmo D'Alessandro, manager for Italy of the former Beatle. “It will be a great show, three hours long, with all the music of the Beatles and the best of his solo career,” adds D'Alessandro. Naples will be the first stop on the tour in Italy that will also touch Lucca: an unmissable opportunity, because “it is the last tour that McCartney will do in Italy and he really wanted to touch Naples”. Tickets on sale will be online until tonight but from tomorrow also in stores. At the moment there are nine thousand but the square will fill up to capacity which will vary between 22 and 25.000 spectators. “It is a great result – commented the mayor of Naples Luigi de Magistris – which confirms the Naples destination as one of the top in the world”.
