IOn November 27th at 18.00:XNUMX pm at Feltrinelli in Salerno, a national preview of “Piccolo Incubo e Dolce Sogno” by Stefania and Paola Siano will be presented; the book blogger and editor Ida Basile will be in conversation with the authors.
This is an illustrated fable published by Milena Edizioni, a publishing house in Caserta that has focused on the talent of the sisters from Salerno, who are not new to the publishing field. Stefania as a writer is already at her fourth book and Paola, an artist and illustrator, graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples, already boasts collaborations with some publishing houses.
The fully illustrated book features Piccolo Incubo, the personification of a bad dream, which torments Mattia, an introverted and imaginative child. Piccolo Incubo interferes in the work of Dolce Sogno, the quiet and serene part of the child's sleep and makes Mattia experience the classic nightmares that all of us have experienced at least once in our lives: falling into the void, an embarrassing event, losing teeth and finally being attacked by an animal. Will Piccolo Incubo and Dolce Sogno ever be able to work together to make Mattia experience adventures made of light and shadow?
The book is suitable for children aged 6 and up. Inside there are cut-out bookmarks and stickers, allowing young readers to create their own stories featuring Little Nightmare and Sweet Dream. A book, therefore, that lends itself to being an active subject and not just a passive one, as is the mission of the Milena Kids series.
