SThe 1 August ET movement by Pino Aprile will be presented on December 24st at the Sannazaro theatre in Naples. The movement was born to counter the inequalities of treatment that have weighed on the South of the peninsula for over 159 years and relegated it to the role of internal colony (the result of a north-centric policy), not allowing it balanced growth equal to that of the North. There is no doubt that the South is systematically subjected to a real bloodbath by the North, which is shown in all its cruelty: the almost total lack of trains; health emigration; the draining of human and economic resources (62 billion euros stolen per year, 1200 billion in 20 years, which causes a halved GDP and 120.000 young people emigrated per year, 2 million in 15 years). It therefore appears evident that energetic actions that provide immediate and no longer postponable responses are more necessary than ever. There is no doubt that the South finds itself living in a dramatic scenario, the result of the total carelessness of an entire political class. Therefore, the political action of the Movimento 24 Agosto ET cannot but be aimed at promoting and pursuing the rebalancing of what appear without a shadow of a doubt to be abominable distortions. It is also necessary to make known that if this does not happen, it would be necessary to foresee a separation plan, so that the inhabitants of the South never see their right to dignity trampled upon again”.
