The investigating judge of Lanciano, Massimo Canosa, has issued two precautionary orders, for the charges of complicity in detention for the purpose of drug dealing, for a 34-year-old from Minturno, transferred from the prison of Lanciano to that of Cassino, and for his 59-year-old father, under house arrest. The measures requested by the prosecutor Francesco Carusi are an excerpt of the operational activity of the Torre Annunziata judiciary which in recent weeks has issued numerous arrest warrants for drug trafficking. The episode to which the orders refer for the two is the entry, on 20 April 2018, of hashish and cocaine into the Lanciano prison where the 34-year-old was being held. At that time, the man's wife was arrested and then sentenced with the abbreviated trial: the woman, who hid the drugs in her bag before going to visit her husband in prison, was accompanied by her father-in-law. The operation was conducted by the Carabinieri of the NOR of Lanciano.
