One hundred and seventeen young people from Naples, Rome, Genoa, Milan, Varese, Florence, and other parts of Italy were identified and reported by the Carabinieri for land invasion. The officers intervened in Valsusa, on private land at the foot of the Exilles fort, where approximately one hundred young people from across Italy threw an unauthorized rave party. Three other young people were caught leaving the rave party in their cars, clearly intoxicated. Breathalyzer tests confirmed their high blood alcohol levels, so the Carabinieri, in addition to reporting them, confiscated their licenses, and seized their vehicles. To gain access to the property, the young people tore down several barriers blocking access to the area.
