E' the week of Christmas Eve has begun, waiting for the opening of the traditional stands of the exhibitors of the 'Christmas Market' in San Potito Sannitica in the Formose area. The event, which this year reaches its 30st edition, will be held next Saturday, November 1 and Sunday, December 30. The synergy between the Pro Loco and the municipal administration headed by Mayor Imperadore has allowed the renewal of an event that has become one of the most anticipated in the region and beyond. The heart of the activities will feature local artisans who will offer artifacts and gastronomic products typical of the Matese community. In particular, lovers of dishes from the culinary history of Alto Casertano will be able to taste the famous 'torcinello', a rustic fritter prepared respecting the dictates of the historic recipe handed down for generations. Also within the event will be held the 16th Edition of the Matese Truffle Show which will include a simulation of truffle hunting with dogs and tasting of grilled meat, chili peppers and meatballs, local wine, local pastries and nocino, accompanied by Ammuina Teatrale with clowns and fantasy characters and narrated fairy tales. It will be possible to visit the ground floor of the ancient Filangieri de Candida Gonzaga palace and take a tour to admire the murals that embellish the streets of the historic center. There will be space for music and entertainment with street artists.
