The Municipal Police and Salerno Pulita carried out control activities in the areas most subject to uncontrolled abandonment of waste on public land, providing for the cleanup in Viale Bandiera near the Arechi Stadium, and Via Degli Uffici Finanziari.
The owner of a public establishment and a resident citizen were fined: the first for failure to comply with the rules on separate waste collection; the second for uncontrolled abandonment of waste on public land. In addition, 4 fines of 500 euros were issued for abandonment of waste on public land to resident citizens, identified thanks to video surveillance cameras, with investigation activities carried out by the Operational Unit of the Municipal Police.
As regards urban safety, 2 illegal parking attendants were fined, for whom a Daspo order was issued, in conjunction with the Anti-Crime Office of the Salerno Police Headquarters.
