I Carabinieri from the Sant'Anastasia station, following a complaint filed by a building contractor, executed a custody order against two local men for extortion using the "return horse" method.
According to what was ascertained by the military investigations, the arrested would be the instigator and the executor of the extortion.
After stealing a van that the victim uses in his business, the next day they asked her for 700 to return it.
The victim had given in but had only paid half. However, when it came time to pay, she had been far-sighted and had recorded a video with her cell phone while handing over the money.
The video, along with the phone records in particular, were instrumental in the investigation.
Antonio Mocerino, 38, and Gianluca Russo, 40, both from Sant'Anastasia and already known to the police, ended up under house arrest.
