According to the reconstruction of the investigations, also supported by environmental and telephone interceptions, as well as images from some video surveillance cameras and the victim's statements, the three arrested practically pulled the 31-year-old from Casapesenna into a trap. They made him get into their car and then tied him up and punched him in the face and head, and then threatened him with a gun. And if that wasn't enough, they also took him to a piece of land in Villa Literno, tying him by the neck under a tree, blocking his limbs with insulating tape, beating him even harder until he was left in a state of near unconsciousness. And finally, they also stole his cell phone to confirm that he was really the author of the fake Instagram profile. The 31-year-old managed to ask for help from some passing motorists since he was also abandoned on the spot in a pool of blood.
