Finally there is also the existential damage, which should not be overlooked when it comes to establishing compensation for a fatal road accident.
The amount of compensation depends on several factors, one of which is the age of the person who passes away. However, there are also other elements that have an impact, such as the death of an only child and the death of the child of a couple who cannot have others.
On average, compensation for a fatal accident is 200.000 - 300.000 euro, but this figure, as mentioned, can vary considerably.
