Afragola, autistic child excluded from Christmas play: the case reaches Parliament

”The exclusion of a child with autism from the Christmas play at school is incredible, it is an episode that one cannot believe. Personally, I do not want to believe it! School should be the place of inclusion par excellence and if this absurd episode were to be ascertained, there would be grounds for serious initiatives by the Ministry of Education which I hope will promptly shed full light on what happened. In any case, I will present a parliamentary question so as to urge Minister Fioramonti to intervene promptly to clarify what happened by sending inspectors from the ministry to this school in Afragola and, if the grounds are found, to ask to proceed with the appropriate sanctions”.
