The Carabinieri of the Poggioreale station arrested two women from Afragola for aggravated theft: Anna Mariarca Russo, 27 years old, and Laura Fusco, 28 years old.
In a supermarket on Via Nazionale delle Puglie they stole several packages of frozen fish products - with a total value of 160 euros -, hid them in shielded bags and exited the supermarket through a checkpoint not equipped with anti-theft barriers.
noticed by the carabinieri as they were walking away at a fast pace, they were stopped and checked. Once the stolen products were found, the military arrested them.
At trial they were sentenced to 4 months of imprisonment with suspended sentence.
The stolen goods were returned to the shop.
